…Credit Tinubu’s Reforms for APC Victory
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) have congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his resounding victory in Saturday’s Ekiti State governorship election, describing the outcome as a clear endorsement of his administration’s performance and alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Director of Media and Publicity of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Tunde Rahman, the group also congratulated the South-West Zonal Coordinator of the organisation and Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Chief Dayo Adeyeye, as well as the Ekiti State Coordinator and the 16 Local Government Coordinators for their roles in securing the victory.
The group commended the people of Ekiti State for conducting what it described as a peaceful, transparent, and widely participated election.
According to the statement, the victory reflected the confidence of Ekiti voters in Governor Oyebanji’s Shared Prosperity Agenda and its alignment with President Tinubu’s vision for national development.
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors also praised President Tinubu, saying his administration’s reforms and policies created the enabling environment that contributed to the All Progressives Congress (APC) victory at the polls.
The group further lauded the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma; the Deputy Director-General and Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani; the Secretary and Governor of Gombe State, Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya; and other APC governors for their efforts toward the party’s success in the election.
Rahman noted that Governor Oyebanji’s first term recorded visible achievements in infrastructure development, agriculture, healthcare, education, and youth empowerment, adding that the renewed mandate should inspire greater accomplishments in his second term.
The statement urged the governor to remain inclusive and magnanimous in victory while working to unite all segments of the state for accelerated development.
“As Renewed Hope Ambassadors, our work has only just begun. We must work for the victory of the APC candidate in the Osun Governorship Election on August 15 and continue to articulate and disseminate the reforms and achievements of President Tinubu,” the statement said.
The group expressed confidence that the administration’s achievements would strengthen support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Reaffirming its commitment to mobilising support for government policies, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors pledged to continue promoting initiatives aimed at deepening development in Ekiti State and across the country.
The group also wished Governor Oyebanji a successful second term, expressing optimism that the state’s future remains bright under his leadership.
